The transportation of delicate objects is complicated. It’s very easy for delicate items to fall around or damaged. This is the reason it’s important to take a little more time in packing your items with care. Glasses are especially notorious for breaking during moves. There is a good news, however, an unorthodox method of moving which can protect glass from breaking. Clean a sock and place it over the glass. This provides cushioning for the glass. Keep doing this until the glass is completely lined. Also, label each fragile container to make sure that the owner is knowledgeable of what is happening using the box. Also, you may want to put towels inside the box, too, to add yet another padding. If your box is not filled it is crucial to do this. It is not a good idea to have glasses and other items that can break bouncing within the boxes.
